I’m good and definitely had an amazing 2023 got to do a lot of traveling and meeting some amazing people. Urban Gorillas was definitely a great resource for meeting talent and talking over future ideas and plans

Joey Bada$$ "The light pack" - Review
It’s always healthy for a hip-hop artist to leave their listeners feeling hungry between projects. That being said; for some artists, leaving your fans starving may not always work in your favor. It’s been a very long time since we last heard from the Badmon. That’s not to say he hasn’t been keeping busy though, making numerous guest appearances on other rapper’s records and collecting acting credits from USA Network’s critically acclaimed Mr. Robot series and Hulu’s Wu-Tang inspired web-series, among other shows.
"This Is America." Interview with Eric Casarez
What has it been like to be out there among the community protesting racial systematic injustice?
- It has been nothing like I've ever seen or experienced. I lived my whole life in New York City. I've been at probably a few protests but nothing like the ones I've recently been going to can ever compare to the unification I've been seeing and a part of. It feels right and great to be part of history
Baynk
Electronic dance music producer Jock Nowell-Usticke, or BAYNK, as we know him, is back it again with the white – er – fire music. You know, I’m always stoked when artists bless us with singles, but the sweetness is always accompanied by a tinge of sour. I get a little bit pouty when the release is only a single.
Still Woozy
Sven Gamsky is one of a kind. He marches to the beat of his own drum and we love him for it. His quirkiness shows through in his productions, which I think is part of what makes his music so charming and magnetic. Funk, indie, R&B, electronic, and pop aren’t genres you’d think would go together, but Gamsky alone has the secret recipe for the delicious genre-bending treat that is Still Woozy.
Cyanca premieres a nostalgic new video for “Patti Mayonnaise”
Not to quote Stephen A Smith but, this is exactly what I've been waiting for. A lot of good music has came out in the past month, fewer videos, but nothing that makes me miss my friends like this.

What are some things you're doing to past the time and keep your mind off the Coronavirus noise?
Given the fact that I’m living abroad right now, I luckily have the resources to focus on a creative outpouring. Re-editing old photos (as I’m sure everyone’s been doing), painting as often as I can, and taking french lessons to bring back the fluency I used to have as a student. Honestly, I’ve just been trying to avoid the reality of my situation, but sticking your head in the sand only goes so far.
Music for Silence, Grief, and Hope: Nick Murphy
I can’t write this week and not talk about the pandemic. This is hard. This is so hard. For everyone. There is not one single person on this entire Earth who this is not hard for. Which kind of makes it harder. But it kind of makes it easier, too. We’re in this together.
We Need a Love Like Kaskade
Alright, alright. While I think highly of many of the artists I’ve written about prior, Kaskade is my ultimate dude. He’s the friend you don’t always talk to but you know he’s always there. You can lose touch and still come back together a year later feeling like not one minute was lost. He’s the steady one – the one you can always rely on.

What are some things you're doing to past the time and keep your mind off the Coronavirus noise?
Some things that I have been doing to try and keep away from all the Coronavirus news is I have found a new passion for painting on canvas, and I still try to challenge myself creatively to work on photography work inside or around my house whether it be portraits or just things that I find interesting.
[ Quarantine 2020: Brian Scott ]
Have you been able to cope well with all that is going on?
At the beginning, I was handling things a lot better. It was easier to keep motivated and working but, as time goes on, it's been becoming a little bit more of an up and down roller coaster ride. There's moments where it feels useless to keep up the positivity but, there's moments where I'm reminded of the complete opposite. But, I think that that is always life in general and as long as I'm here, I try to show all my sides and show that there's still worth in keeping up with the fight. And right now, I think that's so important.

What are some things you're doing to past the time and keep your mind off the Coronavirus noise?
Passing time is definitely the key in all isn’t it? A few of the things i’ve been doing is like i said above and that’s running in the mornings. Right now in Texas its starting to get really hot which makes running suck but it also feels really good and rewarding. On top of that i’ve been trying to engage more with the twitter photography community, i know there are thousands of people, but i know how good it feels to get a like/retweet/reply from a stranger so i’m trying to do that more. Besides that its just a lot of binging shows, playing animal crossing, sending raw files to friends and editing random stuff.

Have you been able to cope well with all that is going on?
As of right now, I am definitely doing alright despite the chaos brewing across the nation. I luckily work at a local grocery store, so I am still blessed with a good paying job. I have also transitioned to all online classes for photography, which hasn't been the most ideal, but we find ways to make assignments work and keep going.
[ Quarantine 2020: Interview with Efrain ]
What are some things you're doing to past the time and keep your mind off the Coronavirus noise?
One major thing that’s helping me is learning something new everyday. Since we have such powerful learning tools like google, YouTube, etc, there’s no excuse to take this as an opportunity to elevate your knowledge in whatever your passion is. For example, I’ve been struggling with doing video for a while so I’m watching tutorials everyday so I can eventually add that to my arsenal.
[ Quarantine 2020: Interview with Sterling Mills ]
What are some things you're doing to past the time and keep your mind off the Coronavirus noise?
To keep my mind busy during this tough time I’ve made it point to have a routine. Even on the days I don’t want to get out of bed, I force myself to work out every morning, make myself breakfast, and go straight into what I have to do for that day. At first, I took a step back from photography and focused on things I haven’t done in years that were incredible for my mental health, like reading, writing, spending more time in nature, etc.
[ Quarantine 2020: Interview with Teddy Msomi ]
Have you been able to cope well with all that is going on?
I think this pandemic is really serious and it took a while for everyone to truly understand it’s seriousness. Honestly not being able to go out and do my everyday activities has been hard and frustrating to extent but I like most of us have been finding comfort on the socials. Working and brushing up on some of skills such as editing.
